Less than 7% of all video content is directed by women. So, pretty much everything we view is from a male point of view. Not only is that unfair from a hiring perspective, but it contributes to the inaccurate depictions of women we are now fighting to change.

To take a stand and help enact change, Venus hired 10 up-and-coming directors from diverse backgrounds and creative styles. They developed content showing what “feminine by design” means to them and its power to disrupt and improve the world. It was an incredible opportunity for them to be heard, gain visibility for their craft and even receive mentoring from Emmy winner Regina King.

Venus sparked a conversation with 42.2 million organic engagements and 29 editorial placements. P&G continues its commitment to bringing more female directors into the marketing fold.
